New Aircraft Carriers

New Aircraft Carriers

New Aircraft Carriers - "Our shipbuilders are highly skilled, determined and working incredibly hard to bring Kennedy to life," said Lucas Hicks, vice president, New Construction Aircraft Carrier Programs CVN 78 and CVN 79. "This is about equipping our sailors with the most advanced aircraft carrier

ever built for the U.S. Navy. We are proud to execute for the customer, and finalize the remaining equipment, systems and compartments that will bring us closer to delivering the ship to the Navy.” The Ford itself will cost US taxpayers $12.8 billion in materials and labor.

China's New Super Carrier: How It Compares To The Us Navy's Ford Class - Naval News

This does not take into account the $4.7 billion spent in research and development of the new carrier class. And, seriously, we're talking about a lot of labor ... The MiG-29K, meanwhile, has been a headache for India.

At least five of the 45 jets it has purchased have crashed in the last four years. A 2016 report by the Indian government said 40 of the 65 MiG-29K engines delivered to India had been withdrawn from service or rejected due to defects and deficiencies.

Some of these construction innovations have already been underway with the USS Kennedy, the second Ford carrier slated to hit the ocean in the next few years. It involves a process Newport News Shipbuilders, a division of HII, describes as "modular construction" in which ship compartments are assembled together before moving them to the dock to expedite the building process.

Smaller segments of the ship are welded together into a structural "superlift," as Hicks described with the Enterprise, to advance construction before the ship is lifted up into drydock. Chris Osborne is the defense editor for the National Interest.

Osborn previously served at the Pentagon as a Highly Qualified Expert with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army—Acquisition, Logistics & Technology. Osborn has also worked as an anchor and on-air military specialist at national TV networks.

He has appeared as a guest military expert on Fox News, MSNBC, The Military Channel, and The History Channel. He also has a Master's Degree in Comparative Literature from Columbia University. This article is being republished due to reader interest.

Most of the technologies are expected to be quite similar to the first two Ford-class carriers, yet they will likely integrate more quickly given that the Navy has had practice with the Kennedy and Ford. There are also new shipbuilding methods which have been progressing throughout the trajectory of Ford-class development, according to Hicks, who said HII is incorporating a number of lessons learned from building the Ford and Kennedy.

The "build strategy" improvements, he said, including more outfitted superlifts, described at larger and more complete than on previous carriers. By adding carriers — Indian officials are already considering buying another Vikrant-size carrier — India's navy can keep them at sea off of both its coasts and around the region in order to monitor activity and potential threats from China's navy, the largest in the world.

In recent years, Indian concerns have focused on China's increasing presence and activity in the Indian Ocean. China has deployed surface ships to conduct anti-piracy patrols off the Horn of Africa since 2008, and a Chinese submarine visit to Sri Lanka in 2014 raised alarm in India.

That reliance is exactly what Atmanirbhar Bharat aims to undo. Although the LCA Navy was rejected, India still has plans for a domestically produced carrier-based fighter. That jet, the Twin-Engine Deck Based Fighter, or TEDBF, is in the early stages of development and is intended to replace India's MiG-29Ks around 2031.

"After years of budget cuts that have impaired our defense, I am calling for one of the largest defense-spending increases in history," Trump said. "And by eliminating the sequester and the uncertainty it creates, we will make it easier for the Navy to plan for the future."

CVN 81 will be named after Doris Miller, a Navy cook assigned to the USS West Virginia (BB 48) during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Miller earned the Navy Cross for manning a machine gun on the ship during the Pearl Harbor attack, exposing himself to enemy aircraft fire to help defend the ship.

The frigate USS Miller (FF-1091) was previously named after Miller. "This carrier and the new ships of the Ford Class will expand the ability of our nation to carry out vital missions on the oceans to project American power in distant lands," Trump said.

"Hopefully, too, it is power we don't have to use, but if we do, they're in big, big trouble." Among the recently completed compartments on the new aircraft carrier were the ship's electrical and engineering compartments.

Completion of these compartments will allow sailors assigned to the ship's pre-commissioning unit to increase training on the hull while shipbuilders continue outfitting and testing other parts of the ship. Daily Press reported crew members will move onto CVN 79 next year.

CVN 79 will be the third U.S. warship to bear the Kennedy family name and the second aircraft carrier to bear the name John F. Kennedy. The Kittyhawk-class USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) was the first aircraft carrier named after the late president and entered service in 1968 before retiring in 2007.

Here's What You Need to Remember: The Enterprise is part of a Navy "two-carrier" purchase plan designed by the Navy to lower production costs and streamline technological integration. The fourth Ford-class carrier, called CVN 81, is already progressing through several key planning and preparation phases.

Vikrant aided the annexation of Goa from Portugal in 1961 by deterring foreign intervention and was vital to the naval blockade of Bangladesh (then called East Pakistan) during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. Viraat supported India's peacekeeping efforts in Sri Lanka and threatened to blockade Pakistan during the 1999 Kargil War.

Adm. R. Hari Kumar, India's Chief of Naval Staff, said in a statement that the operations marked "a momentous step forward towards the realization of our collective vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat" and heralded the integration of the MiG-29K into the carrier's inventory.

Although Vikrant is India's first domestically built carrier, it is actually the fourth to enter service with the Indian Navy. The first two, INS Vikrant (namesake of the current Vikrant) and INS Viraat, were both former British carriers in service with India from 1961 to 1997 and 1987 to 2017, respectively.

China's Aircraft Carrier No 4 Will Not Catch Up With Us Navy's Nuclear-Powered Giants, Analysts Say | South China Morning Post

India is also looking to acquire 26 new carrier-borne aircraft from another country to use until the TEDBF arrives. The search narrowed to two models: the French-made Dassault Rafale M and the US-made Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet.

There's more than one way to fight fires aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford. Here, sailors sweep massive amounts of aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) out of the ship's hangar bay following a test of its sprinkler system on April 10, 2017.

Pickell and the rest of the flight deck crew of the PCU Gerald R. Ford wear color-coded uniforms associated with their specific duties. All aviation fuel handlers wear purple, for example, while aircraft handling officers wear yellow, crash and salvage crews wear red, and messengers or phone talkers wear blue.

With President Ford's daughter Susan Bales Ford giving the order on July 22 to "bring her to life," sailors aboard the USS Gerald Ford rush to man the rails -- that is, take evenly spaced positions along the sides of the ship for a salute

. Construction begins with the bottom of the ship and works up with inner-bottoms and side shells before moving to box units. The bottom third of the ship gets built first. Also, some of the design methods now used for the Kennedy include efforts to fabricate or forge some parts of the ship—instead of casting them because it makes the process less expensive, builders explained.

The jets involved were the naval variant of the Indian-made Tejas fighter, referred to as "LCA Navy" for "Light Combat Aircraft Navy" in the announcement, followed by a Russian-designed MiG-29K. Each jet landed using the carrier's arresting cable and then launched from the carrier's ski-jump ramp.

On July 11, Huntington Ingalls Industry (HII) announced that its Newport News Shipbuilding facility completed the 1,000th compartment out of 2,615 total spaces on the new aircraft carrier, which will serve in the U.S. Navy as USS John F. Kennedy.

Meet Umk Varan, Russia's Latest Aircraft Carrier Concept Featuring A High Degree Of Automation And Robotic Systems - The Aviation Geek Club

In the latest progress report, HII also revealed that it has installed more than 9.8 million feet (about 1,800 miles) of cable of the approximately 10.5 million total feet of cable to be installed. At about 930 feet long, Vikramaditya displaces about 44,000 tons and can carry 36 aircraft, mainly MiG-29Ks and a combination of Ka-31, Ka-28, and HAL Dhruv helicopters.

It has a crew of 1,600, a top speed of 28 knots, and a range of about 7,000 nautical miles. Like the rest of India's military, the Navy is dependent on Russia for major maintenance and support, including Russian technicians and spare parts, which may soon be in much shorter supply given the toll the war in Ukraine has taken on Russia's defense industry.

The USS Gerald R. Ford has hosted a number of important dignitaries from the private and public sectors. In this June 2016 photo, Captain Richard McCormack gives a tour of the ship's bridge to New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick and his wife.

Manning the rails is a centuries-old sailing tradition where the crew lines up in full uniform along the edges of the ship as a method of salute. The idea is to make the most impressive possible display of the ship's manpower.

"It sounded bad to me. Digital. They have digital. What is digital? And it's very complicated, you have to be Albert Einstein to figure it out. And I said -- and now they want to buy more aircraft carriers. I said

what system are you going to be -- 'Sir, we're staying with digital.' I said no you're not. You're going to goddamned steam, the digital costs hundreds of millions of dollars more money and it's no good."

Since then, Beijing has set up a naval base in Djibouti and pursued port projects — which are seen as avenues to advance Chinese economic, diplomatic, and potentially military influence — around the region, including a 99-year lease in Hambantota, a strategically located

port in southern Sri Lanka where India has long standing concern about Chinese military activity. A port call in Hambantota last year by a Chinese tracking vessel raised alarm in India about spying missions off its coasts.

The aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, seen here in a combination model and live shot photo, is the first in the US Navy's next generation of warships, the Ford class. USS Gerald R. Ford was officially commissioned on July 22, 2017.

In 2016, the Indian Navy rejected the naval variant of the Tejas because its single-engine design gives it a low thrust-to-weight ratio, making it unable to launch from a STOBAR carrier with a full load of fuel and weapons.

The jet is only being used as a technology demonstrator to inform future operations and development. INS Vikrant is expected to be ready for operations by the end of this year and INS Vikramaditya is expected to return this spring after an extensive 15-month refit.

The newer carrier will reportedly be based on India's East Coast and the older carrier on the West Coast. The ship's bridge, or control center, is one level below the Primary Flight Control. From here, Capt.

Richard McCormack, PCU Gerald R. Ford's commanding officer, discusses the bridge watch team dynamics with a group of sailors.

Luscombe Aircraft

Luscombe Aircraft

Luscombe Aircraft - The Temco Aircraft Company built model variations of the Luscombe series aircraft under the name Silvaire. The Silvair monoplanes that were made in the late 40s had virtually identical specs to the original 8 series - with some modernized improvements here and there.

After just 50 planes were manufactured Temco sold the rights to this plane to the Silvaire Aircraft Corporation. Variations of the Luscombe aircraft were produced for decades - with one of the latest models of this plane introduced as late as 2007.

Luscombe Aircraft

Luscombe 8F Silver G-Bulo In Flight Stock Photo - Alamy

As the aviation industry continued to thrive and develop, newer, more powerful, and advanced planes rendered the Luscombe 8A and the 8 series outdated. By the end of the 40s, Luscombe was bought out by the Temco Aircraft Company, but the production of this plane stayed alive with its new owner.

Restored Luscombe A Costs $ To $

Under the leadership of Steve Testrake, who has vast experience in aircraft design, developmental flight test, avionics, instrumentation design, flight training, unmanned aircraft data links and flight training instrumentation for both military and civilian, Luscombe is poised to reach the pinnacle in Vintage

Aviation. If you are evaluating Luscombe 8A planes in the $15,000 range, it's safe to say that you can expect the condition to be mediocre at best. More often than not, an 8A bought at this price will need some form of restoration - either soon or immediately after your purchase.

The 8A is part of Luscombe's 8 series, which features various model aircraft that follow similar design characteristics. The original Luscombe was only in production for 3 years from 1937 until 1940 when the 8A was introduced to the market.

Jamestown, New York – November 13, 2020 – It is nice to see a dream fulfilled. Steve Testrake of Testrake Aviation Inc. (TAI) and Stephen Young of Young's Environmental Services (YES) were lovers of the original Luscombe Legacy Aircraft.

1947 Luscombe 8E At Wings And Wheels At Oregon Aviation Historical Society. | Oregon Aviation Historical Society

‍Luscombe A History

When they were made aware of Luscombe's situation, they jumped to team-up and acquired the Luscombe assets in June of 2019. As a new C Corporation, Luscombe Aircraft Corporation (LAC), was formed to hold the assets and build a new factory.

Their goal is to revive the legacy of the Luscombe, and they are well on their way to doing so. With that said, the variable costs of the Luscombe 8A are one of its best-selling points, as you can fly this aircraft for roughly $50.00 per hour.

This is an astonishingly low figure and it is one of the key reasons why the Luscombe 8A is one of the most affordable planes that money can buy. When you get into the cockpit of a monoplane that was made in 1940, you shouldn't expect top-of-the-line specs and performance capabilities, but this is actually one of the characteristics that make the Luscombe 8A such a great plane.

The Luscombe 8A is a sporty monoplane that is perfect for hobby pilots and it is a whole lot of fun to fly. Now, thanks to great crew, the team has Luscombe Aircraft, Inc. operating out of a 25,000 sq ft facility at the Jamestown Airport, in Chautauqua, New York.

Luscombe A Specifications

Using the original Luscombe jigs, restorations are expertly crafted in their world-class hangar at the Jamestown Airport. Each aircraft is restored to uncompromising standards and unique specifications of each owner or buyer. When new pilots and aircraft owners buy their first plane, they are often shocked by the variable costs that come with operating their aircraft.

It is not uncommon for planes to cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars to operate. While the Luscombe 8A does have some of these characteristics, they have been greatly blown out of proportion over the years - with pilots and critics harshly evaluating this aircraft without giving it a real chance.

In the winter of 1934/35, Luscombe Aircraft moved to Trenton, New Jersey, and was incorporated as the Luscombe Aircraft Development Corporation. Shortly afterwards, the Luscombe School of Aeronautics opened. Trainees from the school worked in the Luscombe factory, and the school helped support the aircraft company for many years.

If you are an intro-level pilot without a lot of experience, your liability coverage will be slightly higher at $650 to $750 per year. Regardless of your flight experience, you will be given the same amount of liability protection of $1,000,000 in coverage.

Luscombe A Variable Costs $ Per Hour

With that said, much like with any used aircraft, you want to carefully consider the Luscombe 8A that you buy. This plane has been around for a long time and just because there are still quite a bit of Luscombe 8 series models in circulation that does not mean that every aircraft is going to be worthy of your money.

However, most people who purchase an 8A in the $25,000 to $30,000 range can get their hands on a Luscombe 8A that is in solid condition and ready to fly. This is generally considered to be the ideal figure for buying an 8A that is reliable for flight and in good enough condition not to require immediate repairs.

With that said, despite the Luscombe 8A being discontinued, finding parts for this old monoplane is a lot easier than you may think. Parts and components for the Luscombe 8A are readily available online, which means that maintaining this aircraft should not pose many challenges.

Buying a plane is a major investment and if you look at the prices of aircraft on the market, the cost of buying one can quickly go into the hundreds of thousands. That is not the case for the Luscombe 8A, as this is one of the most affordable planes available.

Luscombe A Costs

The Luscombe 8A requires a little bit of getting used to, but once you become familiar with the aircraft, flying it is incredibly easy. The simplistic controls, lack of complex avionics, and monoplane design make flying straightforward and fun.

Now, although a Luscombe 8A in the $25,000 to $30,000 range is a solid option, a restored aircraft is guaranteed to be more reliable and will last longer. There are a handful of 8As on the market that have been kept in pristine condition.

Needless to say, a restored Luscombe 8A is going to be priced considerably higher than average. In 1936, the company designed and began flying a simplified version of the Phantom known as the Luscombe 90, or Model 4. The Luscombe Aircraft Corporation was re-formed as a New Jersey company in 1937, and a new design was begun.

The Luscombe 50 (Model 8) became the company's most famous product. The Type Certificate for the Model 8 is A-694 and is now held by Good Earthkeeping Organization, Inc. of Corona, California, USA. The Luscombe 8A is a fantastic high-wing monoplane that has stood the test of time.

Is The Luscombe A Worth Buying?

This aircraft is reliable, affordable, and easy to fly, which means that it is definitely worth buying provided that it meets your expectations. The biggest mistake that you can make with owning the Luscombe 8A, as well as any other aircraft, is neglecting its routine maintenance.

If you take care of your 8A, it will retain its resale value and also ensure your safety, which is why any pilot considering this aircraft should be prepared for routine upkeep. The bottom line is that if you take care of your Luscombe 8A and fly responsibly, there is not much more risk in operating one of these planes than any other well-recognized monoplane from this era.

There have been a total of 402 accidents since the Luscombe 8A was released, which is not bad considering that it has had nearly 90 years of flight time. Of these 402 accidents, there were 211 fatalities.

There is no set-in-stone figure for how much you will have to pay over the years during your ownership of a Luscombe 8A. Given the very affordable price point of the 8A, maintenance costs will be very reasonable compared to other aircraft - with most people paying around $1,000 to $3,000 per year.

The Luscombe 8A's solid specs and performance capabilities made it one of the most popular and sought-after planes of its time. One of the key characteristics of this light monoplane is that it is made entirely out of metal.

This was a groundbreaking achievement in the 1940s, as virtually every aircraft ever produced up to this point had wood in its design. The variable costs of operating a Luscombe 8A can vary depending on a number of different factors - mainly the cost of fuel, which is often up in the air.

However, you can expect very reasonable variable costs that range from $45.00 to $55.00 per hour. Luckily, the low cost of operating and owning a Luscombe 8A is reflected in the price of insuring this monoplane.

Is The Luscombe A A Safe Aircraft?

There are a handful of insurance options to choose from, but ultimately, it should not cost more than $500 to $950 per year. These are your options for insuring a Luscombe 8A. Luscombe Aircraft was a United States aircraft manufacturer from 1933 to 1950. Donald A. Luscombe founded the Luscombe aircraft company in 1933, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Luscombe had already made his reputation as an aircraft designer with the Monocoque series of light aircraft, but he felt that the tube-and-fabric method of construction was too expensive and inefficient. He planned to create a light aircraft that was all-metal monocoque construction.

In 1946, Don Luscombe introduced the four-place model 11, designed to specifications produced by the Flying Farmers of America. This was designed as a combined family/business aircraft, capable of carrying four people. With the back seat removed, up to six milk cans could be carried.

Eventually, the Flying Farmer market proved to be a myth, so the Model 11 Sedan was finished with a more upmarket interior to appeal to the businessman. Certification was accomplished in May 1948. 38 examples remained on the U.S.

civil aircraft register in August 2010. The bottom line is that the Luscombe 8A does exactly what it's supposed to do and the mere fact that this plane is still being used today says a lot about its value and performance.

These are the specs of the Luscombe 8A: You can expect to pay anywhere from $50,000 to $75,000+ for a restored Luscombe 8A. Naturally, the better the condition, the higher the price. Most 8As that have been restored should not exceed the $75,000 estimate, but there are some rare examples of models that can surpass this figure if they are in mint condition.

Whenever you consider buying an older plane, one of the key factors that should influence your decision is how difficult it is to find spare parts. Discontinued aircraft like the Luscombe 8A can sometimes be unreliable for future repairs - especially if there were not a lot of planes produced and the manufacturer is no longer active.

In 2017, the company started the M&A process and successfully completed the acquisition of the JGS Properties company's Luscombe 11-A and 11-E aircraft production lines in 2017. It plans to develop large-scale production of the Luscombe 11-A and 11-

The AVIATIZE suite combines Flight Planning, Maintenance Scheduling, Flight Bookings, Safety Management, Training, Documentation, Full Compliance and Cost Control into a seamless interface which is powerful, easy to use and integrated in both mobile and web applications—no matter where in the world a mission takes you.

The JMB Connect app connects the aircraft with its owner to maximize control and make it easy to manage the plane. The owner gets notifications when something needs his/her attention such as fuel quantity, oil consumption, tyre pressure, cabin temperature, location and more. Besides talking to the aircraft, the app also controls document and license expiry and renewal, enables you to plan flights , check weather and NOTAMS, and notifies the owner of maintenance requirements. Through the app, JMB Aircraft will be able to communicate with owners and send safety and operational information. VL 3 owners can enter technical issues in the app and get in contact with their service centres.

When the Sebring U.S. Sport Aviation Expo launched back in 2004 — the same year the SP/LSA regulation was released — the central Florida location began serving a then-new aviation segment. For 15 years this show grew and prospered …until it ended in 2019. (Sebring’s timing now appears foresightful because the next year, 2020, started the world down the Covid path that put enormous financial pressure on other events.) Sebring Expo accomplished its principal goal for the race-city airport: to put it on the aviation map in a definitive way. Led by longtime airport manager Mike Willingham, Sebring enjoyed a remarkable run and the young LSA industry benefitted greatly from their event. If you’re curious about how and why Sebring called it quits, check this first and second article on the subject. Not long after Sebring first opened its visitor gates, another small event started in the unlikely town of Mt.

The VL3 is at the forefront of an entire class of modern European airplanes that combine exceptional speed, range, and flight efficiency. Their superpower is an elegant combination of light and strong composite materials—as well as retractable landing gear and constant-speed propellers that U.S. light sport aircraft rules specifically prohibit. JMB Aircraft claims its Rotax 915-powered VL3 is the quickest with a top cruise of 199 KTAS at 18,000 feet. U.S. buyers of V3Ls must license them in the experimental exhibition category.

Fifteen years ago, in 2007, Guisset brothers Jean-Marie and Jean-Baptiste were dealers in France and Belgium for a company then known as Aveko. Driven by a passion for flying that started when they were only fourteen years old, the brothers were successful enough that at one point they could claim to have sold more than 85% of the aircraft produced by Aveko. Aircraft seen in nearby images is the VL3, a plane formerly designed by Vanessa Air and produced by Aveko. Americans first came to know a variation of this model as the Gobosh G700S although that faded about the time JMB took over production. Some years went by with no U.S. presence for the European low-wing aircraft. Five years later, in 2012, the Guisset brothers’ acquired Aveko. Shortly after, they started to upgrade the aircraft, pushing the aircraft to fly faster (article). They also upgraded the interior; see current state-of-design in a nearby image.

A Message of Thanks on a Day of Thanksgiving Does a “simple aircraft” seem a contradiction in modern aviation? Today, a mid-range LSA is commonly equipped with sophisticated digital avionics, autopilot, articulating fowler flaps, carbon airframes, powerful engines, numerous safety items and quite a bit more. Doesn’t everyone want those features? Is is even possible to fly an aircraft without all these advanced devices and services? Who would want such a simple aircraft? You might be surprised. Over the years I’ve come to believe that Part 103 ultralights (see a lengthy list of 103s) are selling at roughly the same rate as Light-Sport Aircraft (market stats). I frequently get pushback when making this statement but I believe part of the answer is that these aircraft don’t fly where larger, more powerful, faster, noisier aircraft fly. Most 103 aviators fly out of fields or airparks.

JMB Aircraft CEO Jean-Marie Guisset: ” Our VL3 series will be equipped with the JMB Connect app to deliver the best information platform to our customers. This includes aircraft status and checklists, flight planning, pro-active maintenance scheduling and JMB Aircraft updates. Literally, in the palm of their hand. With the JMB Connect app we set the bar higher and provide more value to our customers.”

When Light-Sport Aircraft arrived on the scene almost 20 years ago, one early model that caught my attention was Kappa KP-5. This was one of the first of several brands unknown to Americans then. Others went on to become fixtures in the LSA space: Flight Design, Tecnam, Evektor, and Aeroprakt, among others. Over some years, light aircraft models that arrived under the name Kappa were rebadged as Jihlavan and then Skyleader. In truth, it’s been Jihlavan all along but Americans have an easier time saying Skyleader. The company has been a busy development engine lead by engineer Antonín Píštěk while the enterprise is lead by CEO Radek Filip, also an engineer. In the center of the model lineup, Skyleader 200 to Skyleader 600 are descendants of that first Kappa KP5. Contrarily, GP One and UL-39 Albi (article) are distinct designs that do not derive from the 200-400-500-600 series.

One of the most desirable aspects of the Midwest LSA Expo at Mt. Vernon (KMVN) is the opportunity to demo fly aircraft. For my work, it's the #1 event to fly and photograph aircraft. In this view Tom Gutman Sr. and Jr. of Airtime Aviation fly Flight Design CT-series models for a photo shoot.

Once upon a time, I was able to report three or more new Special Light-Sport Aircraft every month. That was more than a decade back when the pace of new arrivals seemed faster than a rocket parachute deployment. Lots of airplane developers from all over the globe wanted a piece of this promising LSA action with its greater freedoms and breathtaking pace of innovation. New models were announced with regularity.

JMB Aircraft announced today that they will redefine the General Aviation market segment with the integration of the JMB Connect app in every VL3 aircraft, through a partnership with AVIATIZE, the Belgian aviation software company. The JMB Connect app is based on the Aviatize Companion app from Aviatize, with extended functionality.

High-quality production involves paper documentation called "travelers" (because they follow components through assembly), meant to help track every element used in every airplane. Now, keep all this straight while moving your facilities 1,000 miles while literally under the gun.

At AERO, the app will be made available to existing customers to allow them to manage flights on their VL3.The European UL aircraft manufacturer, based in the Czech Republic, is continuously at the leading edge of innovation: Earlier this month, JMB announced test flights with the world’s very first ultralight aircraft equipped with a TurboTech turbine engine.
